Right of withdrawal — 14-day return policy
As a consumer purchasing within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your item, without providing any reason.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as received — unworn, unused, with its original tags and packaging. You will also need your receipt or proof of purchase.
How to start a return
To initiate a return, please contact us at gioyel.jewellery@gmail.com before sending any item back. Items returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.
Once your return is approved, we offer two options for returning your item:

In-person handover — we can arrange to collect the item directly from you in Malta. We will coordinate a convenient time and location upon approval.

Return shipping — we will provide you with a prepaid return shipping label and full instructions. Return shipping is free of charge.
Damages and incorrect items
Please inspect your order upon reception. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at gioyel.jewellery@gmail.com so we can assess and resolve the issue promptly.
Non-returnable items
Certain items cannot be returned, in accordance with EU consumer law:

Gift cards

Earrings and other jewellery in direct contact with the skin, where the original hygienic seal or packaging has been opened after delivery

Items that have been worn, used, altered, or damaged after delivery

Items returned without their original packaging where this affects resaleability or verification
If you are unsure whether your item is eligible, please contact us before initiating a return.
Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. The fastest way to get a different item is to return the original (once accepted), and place a new order separately.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 14 calendar days of receiving the returned item, in compliance with EU regulations.
Please note that your bank or card provider may take additional time to process and post the refund. If you have not received your refund after 14 calendar days, contact us at gioyel.jewellery@gmail.com
